Was Indy500 better than many products released after it?  Even from Papyrus?

I think Hawaii for Nascar 1 built a loyal following, but TEN, and WON has
pretty well destroy the community.  The most significant thing hurting
Papyrus' NASCAR community is that there is no controlling body to deal with
the "anarchists".

Well, this must to be entirely subjective, but I think Indianapolis 500 and
GPL have been the two most advanced racing simulations, in their own times.
At the times of their publication, nothing else even came close. I can't
think of another simulation to which this might apply - IndyCar Racing 1
perhaps?

I had a whole 'nuther life even before the WC GP1 age.
Yes I was an Amiganaut.  Ran my Amiga with NO hard drive and one floppy.
But man it was cool....
Just think what kind of *** we'd have if the Amiga had been supported
like the PC....

> Yea, thanks Papy. You're the greatest! Ubi don't do doobie.

There must be a red phone in DGF's troll house under the bridge that send
him special batman alerts each time there's a possible Ubi-bash post on
r.a.s.

Btw, what's with the F1RC patch? LMAO Uncle Bernie must be taking his
valuable time inspecting the physics so that Ubisoft is forced to add
another groove in the physics because the laptimes are too fast.

Cmon Mike, it's illogical to think that a serious group of people can
maintain a tight grip on the relations between the customers and the
developers/producers.  Each side will go "Who the heck are you? I don't need
you!".

It's the Internet, you should expect this.

Oh and I disagree that TEN destroyed the "community".

Man, they are really brainwashing you if you think it was only ONE site.
I've received serious information by well known members of the community
that other sites were told to simply calm down on the excess of third-party
add-ons and utilities, as they are all illegal by the law.

Meaning that Indy500 introduced people to 'realistic' driving sims.  Thus, it
started the '***' genre.

Oh, ok then. Serious information. I guess it's top secret classified
information for your eyes only.
