Mad Katz steering wheel and pedals here.  Powerslide works fine, no
problems.

Works fine in GPL, NFS IIse, even Moto Racer...NOT Powerslide.  I'm depressed,
everyone raved about it, so I downloaded the demo(on a 33.6 modem).  What a
waste...

Didn't you try it with keyboard? You would be surprised at how well it works.
I wouldn't whine too much about a 7Mb download. It's the smallest demo I've seen
in a while.

I considered trying the keyboard or a joystick, but at the time I was so pissed
I just shut it off.  I may give it another chance...

Humm.... I don't have Screamer 2, so I couldn't tell you if it's similar to
powerslide or not.  You can check http://www.ratbaggames.com/ for Powerslide
screen shots and the demo.  :-)

Powerslide has better graphics, but I felt the cars in Screamer 2 had
a much better feel and control about them.  In Powerslide, the cars
feel weightless and felt like you were throwing around a bunch of toy
cars or something.  Colin McRae Rally from what I hear is closer in
resemblance to Screamer, so I can't wait to check it out.
