NR2003 2006 mod?

by 9fan » Sun, 22 Oct 2006 03:24:36

Hello out there!

I've just gotten back into NR2003 and was wondering if anyone knows of
an update or mod that takes into account changes in car shape,
geometry, and / or physics since the original 2003 cars? I'd be
interested in replacing the default Ford model with the new Fusion and
getting the Charger in there.

Thanks!

Great idea! Someone should do this. After retaining a lawyer, of course.

I've seen this and a couple of other great car sets out there. I
thought they were only paint schemes and didn't actually update the 3d
models in NR2003. I may be mistaken. Can anyone give clarification?
Thanks again!

its only the skin set not a model update.

I'm sure there's a 2006 mod with updated models floating around. Almost all
the new nr2003 mods have gone underground.

Wish there was a "tunnel" with signs to the underground ;-)

Therein lies the problem. Perhaps Google Maps could send me an
anonymous link to such a place on behalf of my race league
(www.cfrlracing.com). We are lost and need directions.

I feel so "James Bond" right now....or maybe Clark Griswold!

Damn google maps are worth less. It took a place mate map at Denny's with a
gravey stain to bring us here. The X mark said this might be the only legal
2006 mod.. but it was hard to tell.. the gravey stain had some left over
breakfast jelly on it and some thing else I never saw before.

SS.net isn't really underground, IMO. They are pretty open about what
they are doing. I was thinking along the lines of the mods that might
upset a particular "person" who owns a professional sports team, for
example only of course.

OTOH, the ss.net mods and addons have always been sensational and
worthy of spreading the word.
