What is the best setup for playing both auto and flight sims

I have to physically switch between the two depending on the sim I'm playing.
I have a T2 wheel and a MS Presision Pro joy stick.  I ussually have to reboot
when I go from the stick to the wheel but not visa-versa, because the softwhare
that comes with the joystick recognizes when the unit is active or not.  It's
stll a pain to have to undo, connect ....... I'd love a way to have a Y cable
connection to handle this but I think it would cause conflicts within the
computer.

Your solution is a JoySwitch (there's probably others, too).  It handles up
to 4 controllers (joystick/wheels) plus 2 foot controllers (e.g., rudder
pedals).  I've got my wheel/pedals, an FLCS./TQS,  a gamepad, and an old
reliable CH Flightstick hooked up and only have to switch between them (and
of course remove/add/re-calibrate in Win95... thanks, Bill!!!).

As I primarily run FS98 and FU2, I use the CH VPP Yoke and the ProPedals. I
also have the CH FlightStick Pro which I use occassionally for sim aircraft
that actually use a stick (P51 and such). Most of the sim aircraft that I
fly (Cessna 182, Baron, etc.) do use a yoke. My one auto sim is Andretti
Racing (I also have CART Racing, but don't use it much). For the Andretti
version, the CH yoke and pedals work just fine. The yoke for the steering
wheel, the hat switch for view changing, the buttons for gear shifting
(etc.), and the pedals for brake and accelerator. Actually lot'sa fun. BTW,
this is one auto sim that'll really test your reaction times...  :-)

Yes, JoySwitch works fine for switching between flight and racing
controllers.
If you have problems figuring out how to set them up through
the JoySwitch, check out the JoySwitch homepage for more help.

CH Products makes a joystick switch that works good. It doesn't do digital
sticks very well though. I have the Nascar Pro wheel and the Xfighter stick
set up so when I'm not using the wheel for racing, I can use the peddles as
rudders along with the stick in flight sims. Got mine at EB. Tom

I'm using CH Racing system for auto sim, and CH Fighter Stick,ProThrottle
and ProPedals for flight sim. I change these set with JOYSWITCH box.
It can send power to deswitched flight system, so can use keyboard.

I read CH joystick switcher is also usable.
