Officially licensed Formula One 99 is Psygnosis gift to diehard Formula One
racing fans.
The game features: all the teams, including British American Racing; all the
drivers, including newcomers Ricardo Zonta, Pedro de la Rosa, Marc Gene and
reigning CART champ Alex Zanardi; all the courses, including the brand new
Sepang F1 circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and all the regulations of the
1999 season.
The company is putting its series on course with all-new code from
developers Studio 33, creators of Newman Haas Racing.
Innovations include fresh vehicle dynamics and handling, realistic crashes,
advanced engine sound effects and intricate AI, including enhanced pit
strategies and starting grid behavior. The title is under development for
the PlayStation for fall 1999. Additional features include:
