olav, i should have read more carefully. since you are getting the 3dfx
splash
then glide is installed. then the missing suff is the smiley patch.

at best you should use gem+ as a frontend for gpl
(http://www.racesimcentral.net/)
within the 'George Smiley Patch options" turn on "force resolution" and
match
it with your gpl resolution.

Just to rule this out, have you tried to run it at stock speed,
566mhz? I know that you say it has run fine before at 850mhz, but
there are always little bugs that creep in when you o'clock.

For instance, I couldn't get GP3 to run with my cel 400 when o/ced at
all, even when it was at 100mhz fsb. Once I turned it down to stock,
400mhz, all was fine. And no other game ever proved a problem.

Worth a shot anyway :)

ok, patches downloaded. I was able to enter GPL now in Glide, with a
slightly small menu window :). Set both resolutions to 1024x768, no
FSAA. Problem now is that I get a "Cannot load track" error...
