GP2 Sound Help

Could someone please help me with the sample.cat file.  I have used
the sound extractor and insert program for editing the sounds, but I
am still unable to hear all the other sounds that GP2 has to offer
(i.e. pit crew, ploe position, etc...).   I have changed the file from
a read-only before editing, but I still only get engine and sound
effects.  Thanks for your help.

You can only hear the sounds by extracing them and then listening
to them. You can actually hear them (pole position, oil, etc) during
the game.

Could someone help me with GP2 sounds.  I am trying to get all the
sounds in the sample.cat  file to work.  I have used the wav extractor
and insert file to add a few custom sounds, but I was wondering if
there is a way to hear the other sounds (i.e. pit crew, pole position,
etc...).  Is'nt the sound extwav and inswav supposed to make these
sounds available?  What am I doing wrong?

You can only extract those sounds and listen to them. You cannot actually
hear them in the game, or mess around with anything to hear them in the
game (actually you could, but only in a way in which the wrong sounds
are played..I guess).

I find it amazing that at least some of them aren't included, such as when
you get pole position, or see yellow flags, or when you win a race. It would
have been nice though if red flags, oil on track, etc. were there, but the
list is endless.
