Could someone fill me in on the Diamond Viper V330 card please ??

<P>Does this card support 3DFX ???    I heard it does not
support rendition... but I was curious how this card performs otherwise
??   Is it a good card to put next to the Diamond Stealth II

It uses the NVidia Riva128 chip and is an all around great card.
Currently is has no OpenGL drivers for Win95, but 2D is between a
Millenium and a MillenniumII, Direct3D is as fast or faster as the
Voodoo cards, and it has a solid TV-out. It doesn't support any native
APIs so no 3Dfx or Rendition native games. If you were in the market
for this card, I'd recommend you check out the Canopus version, the
Total3D 128V:

It's a Riva card, a rival of Rendition and 3Dfx, so it doesn't support =
them. It is 2D and 3D, so you won't be able to run it with the Stealth, =
which is also 2D and 3D. If you want a card to run with the Stealth get =
a 3Dfx card, they can run with the Stealth. Voodoo Graphics, not Voodoo =
Rush.

The biggest problem with my new Viper 330 card is that it does not run CPR
right -- I've read the same elsewhere on r.a.s.. There is a SEVERE, read
unplayable, flicker in the middle of your vision, at track level, across the
entire screen. Very disappointing. I think I'm going to take mine back and
get something that will run ICR2 Rendition, and wait for Voodoo2 for my 3dfx
fix.
