the original Microsoft opengl32.dll in your c:\windows\system directory?

Here's a re-post.
As a bit of background info, I'm running a PII 266, with 64meg of RAM and a
Viper V330 4meg PCI card (Riva 128)
When trying to select OpenGL as the 3d graphics accelerator type, I've
noticed a strange thing... When I goto graphics the accelerator option, it's
set to 'none' rather than OpenGL....
So, as the readme file states, I change it to OpenGL, then exit and restart
but when I return to the game, and check the graphic setting, it's still on
'None'!!!!
The 'APP.INI' file shows the lastRasterizerDLL set to rastOGL.dll, so I
assume i'm running OpenGL, but am I really ????
From what I've heard, and from my experience with the demo, prior to the
OpenGL patch, software mode is virtually unplayable, even on P II 450's,
with 128meg of RAM! So.... with framerates of around 12 with all graphics
on, except mirrors, and FPS of around 20 without trees and wall detail, I
would assume that I am running OpenGL, but that the games settings are just
not showing it.
The problem is.... The 3d graphic options of: anti-aliasing, dynamic
lighting and specular highlights are greyed out, so I'm not too sure...
Are these features not available with OpenGL ??? I've heard anti-aliasing
might not be, but what about the other features?
Anyone else encounter this problem?
Thank you in advance for the help!

Oh one more thing (Yeah I know I'm long winded (-:)
For folks out there with a PII 266, and 64 meg of ram, running a voodoo II
card, what kind of framrates do you typically get with all the graphic
options turned on???
Thank's again...
Still even though it doesn't tell me OpenGL as my driver, I can't imagine
getting 12-20 FPS in Software mode, hell I haven't even heard of GPL running
in software mode!
Perhaps things will improve when Papyrus comes out with a Beta3 or a "real"
OpenGL driver, and not just a beta ?
I tried to install the OpenGL drivers but I didn't even get the OpenGL
option on the graphics settings. Maybe it does not work with the demo? I
would very much like to buy the game but I want to be certain that there
is support for my graphics card before I do... Of course the best thing
would be to buy a new 3dfx card. Riva seems to be forgotten by the game
industry anyway...

depends on the track, resolution, etc. etc. etc. suffice it to say it's a vast
improvement. I ran gpl under my riva for about a week and could barely drive.
get
the voodoo 2, or a rendition v2200 (8MB), if you don't play anything else.
