any of the existing carxx.dat files. If you can help, a step-by-step would
be greatly appreciated.

Okay here is a step-by-step. Copy cokecar.pcx into the c:\nascar directory.
Now go into paintkit and click on paint cars. Go to the car you want to
replace with the cokecar and click select at that car. Now click on export
and then exit paintkit. In the directory c:\nascar there will now be a .pcx
file. As an example I will say the file that was created when you clicked on
export was called nasc94.pcx. Now there should be the files nasc94.pcx and
cokecar.pcx along with the other unimportant nascar files in c:\nascar. Now
all you have to do is delete the nasc94.pcx file and rename the cokecar.pcx as
the nasc94.pcx file. (Remember I am using nasc94.pcx as an EXAMPLE, the file
you export probably won't be that name it just depends on which car you choose
to export.) Now go back into paintkit and click on paint cars and go back
to the car you originally wanted to replace, click select. Now click import
and there is the cokecar. Don't forget to click on save before you exit. Hope
this helps.
