Newbie question - pedals?

by Helicon_On » Sun, 05 Oct 2003 04:37:05

So I bit the bullet and bought the wheel and pedals I asked about a little
while ago. Gonna take some getting used to, I'm wayyy slower in F1C right
now than when I was driving with the joystick.

Anyway, my question: can any set of pedals be set up to work as split axis?
Mine are currently combined, and I can't find any option to make them split
from the Game Controllers facility. Should there be an option there? The
pedals are from the Logic 3 Top Drive, if that's any help.

Not sure what you mean by 'game controllers facility' does that mean 'the
windows device manager'?

Did your wheel have it's own software?  If so, look in there for a possible
control configuration.

Hope I didn't confuse you more.....

Oops, should have been more clear I guess. I was talking about the 'game
controllers' section of the Control Panel in Windows, where the options to
alter the properties and calibrate your controllers are.

Nope, no software, not even any instructions (I know; its a steering wheel,
how much instruction would I need, but even so...).

Yikes.

I'm hoping so, I'm quite embarrassingly slow right now, and can barely keep
the car on the grey stuff. Which probably means I have a promising future as
a Minardi driver... :-)
