Set your desktop color depth to 16 bit and you will get 16 bit color in OGL.

BTW how do you like that new camera view? I'm sure its your new favorite.
You can almost see the string. lol

In D3D it runs about the same if the the graphics are set simular. OpenGL is
way slower for me in 2003, but thats ok because I don't like the way OGL
looks so I run in D3D in 2002 anyway.

I can max everything in game except the in-car shadows.  I can't really even
see em anyway and it cut my fps in half...  I would guess a CPU around 3gigs
with (if the hype is real) a GeforceFX should just about max n2003 out.

Again I'm somewhat underwhelmed by this upgrade..  It's cool and all but
Papy could have realistically released 3 versions of Nascar Racing series to
get where we are now, not the 6 versions they have actually released.  Its
not a bash on Papy but rather a bash on the entire s/w industry.  Why sell
one copy when we can add a feature or two call it version 2.0 and sell 2
copies, attitude.

I have one of those Momo racing wheels and it is terrific in GTR2002 but in
N2003 it feels way off, to the point of un-driveable.  I seem to recall guys
raving about Papy's FF implementation.  I must be missing something cause it
sucks in stock form.  Are there other settings besides the standard control
panel/in game adjustments?  I didnt see a core.ini..

I'm less than thrilled with my MOMO as well. I really don't like FF that
much. I seeing games like F12002/GTR20002 require a reversed setting for FF
I wonder if that something isn't backwards with the Papy games.

"MadDAWG"

Thanks...I figured it was something like that.

Well other than moving to another view...I didn't stay long enough
outside to pay attention to the views.  INSIDE babee...dat's da place to
be.  :)

Did you click advanced options to set the linearity?
