I'm of to the US the end of the month could anyone let me know how
much in US Dollars a Thrustmaster (or recommended steering
wheel/pedals) cost.

That depends on where you are going. If you are like many visitors,
perhaps you are planning a trip to New York City. There is an Egghead
Software at 40 East 52nd Street (between 5th Avenue and Madison
Avenue). I believe they are selling the Thrustmaster T2 for around
$130.00 plus 8-1/4% NYC sales tax. The price may have dropped since I
last saw this about 6 months ago, so check with the store for details.
