A friend of mine has had 3 (yes three!!!) of these wheel which all
displayed the same problem.

The wheel actually wobbled as the***that holds it onto the steering
column gradualy came loose, PC World staff told him to put locktite of a
similar compound on to stop it.

Can anyone else shed light oin any similar problems as i am desperate to
buy a wheel in the next 5days and this was my first choice.

Same prob here :-(((. Keep a screwdriver handy for the first dozen
tightenings ;-]. Suggestion: Triple your budget & get a TSW. Thats my next
step. Have'nt seen 1 +unhappy+TSW post yet (Kudos Trevor ;-)). Amazing for a
bunch of Iowegians ;-)).

Mine did this, and I cured it myself... The problem is due to the fact that
there is only one***holding the wheel in one axis. You can solve it  by
either:

a) Cross-drill the shaft and wheel at 90 degrees, to lock it in position
with another screw.

or

b) Remove the screw, sit the wheel right down on top of the shaft, and
re-drill a new hole for it. I did this and it worked a treat !

Other than that, the wheel is excellent, no probs at all. Works with every
game I've tried so far:

Indycar
Indycar 2
Nascar 2
Microprose Grand Prix
Microprose Gp 2
Ubisoft POD & F1RS (***game...)
