It's 9:45 pm pst here and I noticed VROC pings in the 10000 range. What's
going on??

It's 10:15 now and I saw one at 25,000 and one at 42,000. Gotta be some
kind of record.

It's now 8:30 am the next day, and I'm still seeing pings ultra high. I'm
beginning to wonder if it's just me. Is anyone else seeing pings this high?
Or is it just my setup.

You probably had a bad comon router that was really close to your first
output to the Net from your PC, which affected all the servers you were
trying to get to.

The own Chaotic situation of the Internet make this happens.

I had high pings last night as well, never seen them go into 5 figures
before<g>.
