Its been in Australia for a few seasons as well.  Us Aussies Get ripped off
tho - We get 1 million Aus dollars.  A fair bit less than a million pounds
=(  not that I personally stand a chance of getting on there.  The host
ALLLLWAYSS asks - is that your final answer? would you like to use a
lifeline? And then when he's built up the tension as much as he possibly
can - He says "we'll be right back" and goes to an ad break.  AArrghhh thats
annoying, I feel sorry for the player.  There's also a show called million
dollar chance of a lifetime and its the same thing really, cept on a
different channel.

Is it possible to answer this question correctly? I mean, they did use separate
names for chassis and engine in -67, didn't they?

Repco was the manufacturer of the engine of the Brabham (chassis designed and
constructed by Jack Brabham, and driven by him as well, what an omnitalent!), but
depending on how you define "marque", I would say that the marque was Brabham, and
nothing but Brabham.

What is the "marque" name of the McLaren these days? Only McLaren or
McLaren/Mercedes? I am not sure.

Hehe, I love the question in Trivial Pursuit about the six wheel Formula 1 car! I
am the only one able to answer that whenever I play it... ;-)

Definitely right-on, Asgeir.
The marque is 'Brabham', the 'BT' designation was from the last inititials
of Brabham and Tauranac. Why it was dubbed the "Repco Brabham" and not the
other way around only the motoringmedia of the day could explain.  There was
certainly no requirement to do so by the Repco company.

Erm, to clear this up even more. :)  They weren't allowed to change
anything by ITV.  They HAD to keep the same format, same set, same
lighting and same music.  I think you'll find each country's version is
indistinguishable from the others.  Though, as well as the presenter, I
think the questions and the contestants were allowed to be altered. :)

Tim.

not sure whether Jan will answer you. He tends so come and go in RAS as the
mood takes him. Although I'm based in England, Jan and I are pretty good
mates and regular enemies on track.

Greg Renner - AKA Stirling, lives just a few miles from Jan and the three of
us regularly do testing during the week as well as run in the GPVL league
most weekends. We have been racing online together from day 1, even before
VROC was around.

Greg is connected via TVD and both are on cable. Over the last couple of
years, Jan has regularly had the better connection in terms of pings,
warpage us less of an issue with him and has suffered far fewer discos over
time. Based on this I would say that Pandora seems to be a pretty good bet.
