NThunder - Now worth it for the Mods?

I don't want to start some sort of flame thread, I'm as big a Papy fan as
the next guy, it's just I see Thunder in the bargain bins and I know there
is now a CTS mod out and I think a X(I)RL mod out.  And I remember before
it's release HC looked like they had lots of Mods in the wings (early 80's
CART for instance) but then they folded.

My question is what mods are out there and pending? And did anyone pick up
the ball from HC? And is Thunder worth getting now?

PS The best five bucks I ever spent was for a used copy of HEAT although it
generally gets slammed here.

   Speaking of Heat,  my BH Motorsports newsletter had a bit about a new
version of Mid Ohio for that title.  I haven't checked it out yet..But MO
is one of the most poorly done of the old Papyrus tracks and thus the
conversions that have been done since. I hope this is more than a
conversion of the SCGT conversion of CPR.
