| bush has lost all influence in the middle east and most of the world

Do you seriously think that Israel is "targeting civilians"?  Even if they
wanted to, they wouldn't.  If the Hezbollah wants to keep its seats in the
Lebanese government, they are going to have to learn the art of diplomacy.
A political party that lobs bombs at its enemies is not going to last long.
Though I don't care for Bush and find Israel at times being an oppressor,
they can't have some group lobbing bombs at them.  Israel has to decimate
Hezbollah, making them completely ineffective as a military force, before a
cease-fire and negotiations can begin.  The American government is right: no
cease-fire or negotiations until the Hezbollah is rendered ineffective,
militarily.

You must be looking for responses only (i.e., you are a Troll), if you think
Israel is willfully firing at and killing civilians.

First: don't feed the trolls!

Second: Tell Hezbolah to stop hiding behind civilians.

Bush has the balls to fight the terrorists and the crybaby pusses back here
wine about it.
Hopefully everyone will grow a set too and we can win the war. Until the
dipshits here that fight it stop, it will be a hard fought battle.

I've noticed a trend with people who support Bush and all he does.  These
posters typically do two things: they swear and they call others names.
Invariably.

Most of the country knows that Bush's foreign policy has weakened America.
He goes after the little boys and then the little boys bog him down.  The
fact that these terrorists groups are so bold and unconcerned with military
might can be laid upon Bush's shoulders.

But Bush is certainly correct in allowing Israel to continue to eradicate
the Hezbollah.  It's a lot easier to get at these folks when they are in
your back yard than it is when they are way across the world.  There is very
little doubt-- all signs point to it-- that Bush knows nothing about foreign
affairs and how to negotiate and get what he wants.  Obviously it was unwise
to enter Iraq, seeing that that move only strengthened the terrorists'
hands.  I still contend that the move to Iraq and been planned all along,
even before the younger Bush entered the White House.  Bush and his
associates went to war to get back at Saddam for what he did to the elder
Bush.

Republicans themselves will not admit to anything dealing with the failure
of Bush's term in office.  We are at war in two countries, the Middle East
is afire, Iran has been given new life.  The positives of the Bush
Administration and Republican control of Congress has been a law dealing
with the flag and continued insistence in trying to pass laws dealing with
morality.  That's about it.  And that after all the Republicans said, when
the got a-hold of Congress, that they would make these sweeping changes.  I
mean, seriously, it took Bush SIX YEARS to finally meet with the NAACP?
That is embarrassing.

Oh well-- back to the GTR2 Demo.  :)

Mostly well said, I find that those that dislike Bush seem to
never mention  Al Gore.

If Al***would have won. Do you think September 11 wouldn't
have happened? What would our response have been? Afghanistan
might have been attacked and then after that.... probably
nothing. Al***would have claimed victory, brought all the
troops back and then went back to screaming about Global
Warming. With no troops to chase the them around and keep them
running, the terrorists would have regrouped and a new plan
would have been hatched to  attack the U.S. and the world
again.

Granted, Iraq may have not happened as early as it did, but it
was inevitable that the U.S. was going to have to do something
about Saddam. He sat in Iraq and thumbed his nose at the world
for 9 years and NOBODY was willing to confront him about it...
untill Bush. Unlike Clinton/Gore/UN, when Bush drew a line in
the sand and said don't cross it or else.... he meant it and
responded. For nine years prior, everyone just kept drawing
lines in the sand and didn't have the nerve to back it up.

The rest of the world (minus Britain and Australia) need to
wake up and go after all terrorist groups everywhere with full
abandon. The UN should move into Gaza and wipe out Hamas, move
into Lebenon and wipe out Hezbollah, move into Iran and wipe
out Hezbollah, move into .... but that will never happen, the
UN has no teeth. At least the U.S. is willing to loan it some
and take care of some dirty work, even if we catch all the
hatred and blame.

Actually I rarely cuss but when you hear the cry babies over and over, you
finally break.  It's amazing how blind they are to what really needs to
happen and that we are actually doing what needs done and getting there even
with them getting in the way.

A valid observation. It should be illegal in the US to have the interweb
or TV if you live in a trailer.

More generalizations.  What a shock from you Alan, NOT.  You just veil your
insults better is all.  An elitist that looks down his nose at the
uneducated masses with disdain and you prove it with each post you make....

Just because most rational people can and do support the president during
this time of WAR doesnt mean we agree with ALL of his ideologies despite
your crazed claims.

Just this week I believe Bush made a huge mistake by using his only veto to
stop stem cell research.  Way to much bible thumping for me.  His position
on illegal immigration is horrible as well.  None of the topics I disagree
with the president on trump my support for his ability to lead America
during this WAR on terror.

The other side is anti American moonbats with no solutions anywhere to be
seen who will use even the slightest disagreement as a wedge they can use in
the next election.  How can anyone with ANY common sense be on that side?
Irrational people on the verge of a daily breakdown are in NO position to
lead anyone anywhere except down the toilet..  Look at what the left has
done to the once great state of California for all the proof you need of a
failed liberal progressive ideology.

Funny how you just happen to forget how often conservatives are called
Nazi's or rednecks....  Typical selective memory of a leftwing elitist.....

Isreal is targeting Hezbollah. Hezbollah hides among civilians.
Civilians get hurt. Thousands of innocent Germans were killed in WWII,
but Hitler had to go. Thousands of innocent Japanese were killed too.

War is hell. Thats why we try diplomacy first. If that fails, hit hard,
hit for as long as needed but no longer. Get it over with and start the
healing.
