INDYCAR II TOTAL CRAP

Rarely do I respond to posts on this thread but this time I cannot be
silent.  This is the biggest load of rubbish I have EVER heard.
ICR2 is the best simulation I have ever played.  The physics are
very realistic, you get 15 tracks, SVGA that is screaming fast, great
AI, excellent texture mapping on objects, a paintkit.  It is a great
buy.  Many games come and go on my hard drive but until ICR3 comes
out, this one will stay.

Maybe if you posted what your problems are with the program to this
thread instead of whining, you might get some answers and find that
the game is not as bad as you first thought.

Thanks for the laughs.

Jeff

What type of system do you have to get SCREAMING FAST graphics.
It sucks on a 486/dx2-66

What did you expect? SVGA to run fast on a 486/66? I dont think so.
People have trouble with it on Pentiums.

Of course, and it also probably sucks on a 386/25 !
But the point is, on any pentium, this game will run great and after
playing it, the graphics in GP look like a cartoon ! This is a great game
with a steep learning curve and big processor requirements !

It plays just fine in SVGA on my DX2/66 8 meg RAM VLB TSENG4000w32p video
card using the UNIVBE VESA driver.

Sure I have to turn off a few of the textures, but still the fastest SVGA
performance I have seen from any game on my DX2/66 system.
