Thrustmaster Ferrari 2.5.14.0 Drivers?

Anyone know where I can find the 2.5.14.0 drivers?

I had to do a new install of XP, and now N2003 doesn't recognize my wheel
half the time with the current drivers I'm using (2.22.15.0).

I can't wait until the day finally comes when we are all using the
XBox2/Playstation2 and all this hardware/software
configuration/tweaking/troubleshooting/wasting my f***ing life bullshit is
finally over.

Well, I sure hope the day never comes when we are all using console crap.

As for the wheel drivers, your post brought back memories of my time
constantly struggling with the drivers for the Guillemot/TM Ferrari wheel.
Solution for me: get a Logitech MOMO Racing wheel.  If I factor in the time
saved f&^*ing with drivers, the new wheel has cost me nothing.  It is also a
much better product.  And Logi knows drivers, whatever their other strengths
and weaknesses are.  The profiler software actually works as a bonus and now
that I never have to adjust the various settings to get optimised FFB in
games, I almost forgot how irritating that was with the Ferrari too.

Good luck.

Just what we need Dave, a bunch of 14 yr olds to race against (or should I
say, "a bunch of 14 yr olds to try and dodge as they come at us head on").
Yea thats gonna be fun...  I do sympathize though, it gets frustrating at
times but in the long run we need something that costs more and takes some
brains to get running just to weed out the punks...

The wheel works great in F1C and all other racing games I've tried. Smooth,
precise, and the ff is excellent.Works great with N2003 when there isn't a
problem with the game recogning the wheel. N2003 is the only game I ever
have a problem with actually.

Which wheel precisely are you using? You should probably be using the 10.0.3
unified FF drivers along with the latest Thrustmapper to set the profile for
the specific game.

Dave
I thought we went through all this a year or two ago, and decided that the
2.6.3.0 drivers that I use are the best solution!  I may be able to find the
old 5.14s but I have no problem with the 6.3s on N2003 or anything else for
that matter.
If you want me to email those to you, then let me know.

Hi Iain,

Haven't heard much from you here at ras until recently. How's the hotel
business? Still doing your Basil Fawlty impression? :-)

I've tried the 2.6 drivers as well. No matter what drivers I use, N2003 will
recognize the wheel the initial time I start the game after a fresh driver
install, but rarely at any start up after that.

Everything works perfectly in F1C and the GTR demo. N2003 is the only game
that's causing me headaches.

I'm trying to find the 2.5.14.0 drivers because that's what I was using
before the reformat. They worked fine. Maybe I'll re-install the game too.

I found the drivers here
http://us.thrustmaster.com/support/link_driver.php3?TMprodid=72&c=2&p...
but I'm still having the same problem and have now wasted about 5 hours on
this junk. Even re0installed the game. N2003 just won't recognize the more
than once after I re-install the drivers.

Bring on the XBox2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not going to happen.  I'll not have a console 'toy' in my house.
Of course, they could just not release things for the PC, but then
it'll be their loss.

As I said, get a decent wheel (as in one made by a company that makes
competent drivers).  Unless you enjoy wasting your time like this (I sure
got tired of it quickly).  Every title works flawlessly and first try now
that I have ditched my never-ending-tweaking-necessary Ferrari.  Switching
to a piece of shit console isn't a solution (although understandable given
the frustration factor).

David,

Although the Ferrari wheel is not specifically listed on the UK site I would
think the Unified drivers for the other Thrustmaster FF wheels might be
worth a try.

Well, I can understand his point.  His current wheel works on everything ELSE
that he runs.  Why get a new wheel for ONE game?

There are enough consoles that 'console-only' publishers won't be hurting...

Didn't go for the hotel in the end. We ended at buying a
bowling/eating/drinking/games type place, as well as a pub/restaurant.
Things can be pretty stressful mostly due to the 5-letter word STAFF!!!
But, all in al it's good fun.  Still doesn't stop me doing the Basil F
though!

Are you running the mapping software?  I've never installed that and
everything works fine for me.  Can't even see the point of it!
Still weird though, cos I'm sure we decided some time ago that the 2.6.3
drivers were the most stable. I have absolutely no problems at all. Try
uninstalling the mapping software and see if that makes a difference.
