That's a pretty bold statement, Richard. Care to share with us why you
think that?

Simple, if it was amazing, it would draw in people that were 'no tthat
interested'

Alright, then. Why isn't NASCAR Racing 2003 Season 'amazing'? What is it
lacking that keeps it from being 'amazing'?

The three things I find 'amazing' about it is the new tire model,
prettier graphics (including more eye candy, even though my system specs
don't allow me to see them all) and sun glare.

Absolutely, completely, untrue.

Do you think that the greatest RPG ever has drew in people that were 'no
tthat interesed' ?  Or the flight sim?  Or the War sim?

Hogwash... if one's not interested one's not interested, regardless of how
"amazing" the game is. You're still back to personal like and dislike, which
was the criticism leveled against the review.

PC Zone prides itself on having people who are experts in their chosen
fields reviewing the games. I haven't spotted any simracing tendencies in
the current staff, though.

Obviously, Phil drew the short straw and made a dogs ear of it.

Very well stated, Jan. I agree 110%.

No it wouldn't.  I hear people rave on this group about Colin McRae Rally, and
Rally Championship(I think that's the one).  I simply don't like rally games,
so all the praise in the WORLD won't get me to spend money on one...
