GPL - best addons summary?

Guys
I'm going to reinstall GPL after about a year away from it. (I'm trying hard
to whisper!)
Can someone remind (or update) me on the steps I do in terms of patching and
addons etc. to get it working at it's best. I'm sure there are a lot of new
cars, tracks, utilities since I was last there!

I just did this the other day. Try the following:
Overview of everything

http://gplea.racesimcentral.com - install all cars, (and tracks if you
like)
Use GPLCSM to install the cars

for improved default tracks

Then install default track updates from
