Magnus-
Thanks for your great site. Your hard work is appreciated by many.

I have been trying to download Shutoko C1 - Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway
for a couple days but I keep getting a "you do not have permission to access
this page"error.

Thanks again for all you do for GPL.
Doug

Holy crap, that track is a beauty!! I installed the 'high detail'
version first, but I'll stick to the low-detail version untill I have
that Pentium 6 I think :) Superb track indeed!

Totally agree, Magnus - see "Sachsenring - An Appreciation," above.  A
suburb of Karl-Mark-Stadt, a work of art...who woulda thunk it?

Me too, Doug.  It sounds intriguing, from Magnus' descrip.  Hope the link
gets fixed.

I just sampled this amazing track: Need for Speed meets GPL...an arcade game
with a credible physics model.  It's totally ***ive, although I still
haven't broken 4 minutes (the record is given as 3:17).  It's everything
Midtown Madness should have been (except for the NfS-style traffic) and
isn't.  It really teaches you a lot abt. high-speed handling--I use a
mostly-open diff (60/85 to cut down on the push), soft springs, stiff bars,
and stiff shox to eliminate the wallowing in all those reverse Esses.  Great
fun.  Try it.

Um, how the hell did this thread wind up under "Best Addon Track EVER!"
It's not *that* good....

If you read the very first post in the thread Magnus is talking about
Sachsenring which I am about to try for the first time now.
