I think it was Lenin or Marx.  Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was Groucho Marx.

I have actually... and, indeed, shame on me. I've been fooled more than I
care to remember. CMR2 and F1 2001 being recent examples, but I have been
led up the garden path by developer promises, dubious minimum specs and game
series decending into the arcade at every incarnation (instead of improving)
on more than one occasion.

I just don't feel fooled by the Wests and the demise of WSC. I was
enthousiastic about their concept for the game, just like I am now for WRL,
yes. I had my doubts about the feasability, just like I have now, yes. Was I
fooled? -not in my opinion. Might be splitting hairs like the vapourware
debaters, but the West never took anything from me and, in return, didn't
give anything which didn't live up to expectations.

I think it foolish to hold the Empire/WSC thing falling through against them
in this light.

Na Dan I do prety well on the online stuff. Mainly GPL/Vroc. I've won a few
, lost a few. But I will never be the elite in sim racing. I will always be
in the 85% bracket. But never the top
But am I having fun,  you bet ya.

Looking forward to a online in WRL.  It would just be my luck Dan if you
blow me into the weeds and leave me in you dust wiping the egg off my face.
But I be a smiling as you do.

I think if you don't take my origianl wise crack at the West's to heart so
much you would see I am all for what they want to do, but I'm not gonna take
them seriously this time.

I don't get it Nigel, I honestly don't, this WRL thing seems to have
people that are usually pretty well balanced, on the edge it seems, must
be something in the water
