F1GP2 - Hot Seat Racing?

Since the release of the original ICR, I've barely touched
the original F1GP (I usually fire it up every time I upgrade
something on my machine to see just how it looks), but one
of the features I've always liked about the game is the
"hot-seat" option: 2 players on 1 PC.

I used it to drive both cars on my team, often finishing 1-2
if one of the cars didn't fail (kinda like Williams this year).

Does anybody know if this option will still exist in F1GP2?

I was wondering the same thing. We used to use this feature heavily
where I work. During lunch, myself and a couple of buddies would drive
multi-player and over the course of a few weeks, go through an entire
season, then we'd start over again. We each had our own driver/team
and boy was it fun talking trash while competing against each other.
This went on for probably a year and a half. Then they outlawed PC
games at work. :(

Wonder if those extended lunch hours and all the hooting and hollering
had anything to do with it?  ;)

good question.
You would think that microprose would keep such a great option, as no 1 else
uses this option at the moment.  We can only hope

cheers
