Anyone know if the latest version of GP2JAM edits the rather lame

hi-res mode? I tried it (I'm running 800 x 600), and when I got back on
the track with my new improved (so I thought)***pit, there was all
sorts of shit on the screen ?????

Use something like Paint Shop Pro (ShareWare) for editing or
you'll lose the pallette.  Also, if you're using '95 beware long
filenames.  I tried editing and had NO***pit at all until I checked
the filename of the c/pit under dos.  it was cpithi~1.pcx and couldn't
be found by the game.
