Anybody knows where I can find a copy of GP Managers in the SF Bay Area? For
those of you who have played the game, what do you think about it?

GP Manager is a standalone-product. It has nothing to do with
WorldCircuit.
The only thing you need to run GPM, is MS Windows 3.1x or Windows95.

I am ***ed to the old Wizard Games of Scottland's race management
game "Grand Prix".  How does GP manager compare to it?

Until GPM gets the bugs out, I would highly recommend the new sequel to
Wizard Games' Grand Prix, called Grand Prix Wizard. Got my copy last
week, and it's thoroughly enjoyable. The best part is when you enter
the pits in third place and have a 9-second stop, you'll generally
re-enter in third place -- not three laps down, as once happened to me
in GPM.

The game, while not as graphics intensive as GPM, has many, many new
features, including track position, race day strategy and driver
ratings in about a dozen categories, instead of just one general rating
like the old game. The game starts with all the current f-1 drivers
with their 1996 teams. Surprisingly, many IndyCar drivers --
Matsushita, De Ferran, Gugelmin, Greco -- also are represented
(although I can't figure out why Jacques V. starts the game 32 years
old!.

But all in all, a fun game.

Wizard Games stateside no:

1-800-487-4625.

in UK: 0131-333-4958.

rest of world: 508-658-2209.

I#ve played both, and i like the Wizard game better. it isn't as
pretty, but, on the other hand,
- it has no bugs
- it has a good playability
- its cheaper.

OK,it don't have to be 30,anything between 20-30 is interesting.

Etc. I`ve started Indy2 on P133 with Spea V7 Mirage 2Mb card (acording to
testers it is very fast DOS card, next to Hercules Stingray pro) .

So,in SVGA ,all details on and (very important) with maximum number of
oponent formulas I have a min. FPS=19.That`s realy min.,`cause Indy never
goes under that, not even in city racing with lot of cars crashing around
you.
I must admit it don`t looks slow at all,in fact,it is quite
playable, but, one could expect more from P133,eh?

Any coments? Is it to slow for P133? Should I expect more?

And yes,I am using UNIVBE 5.1a.

Thx!
