Hi. I read the other day that you can choose to be in the pits for the
practice and qualifying sessions and the race. What kind of stuff do you
do here? If you're in the pits, what do you do here? Can you change the
pit stratagy during the race?

From the article I was reading, I got the idea that you take over the
role of one of the team managers from this or last year. Can someone
please confirm this? Thanks for any help!

The direct-order people at SH told me both F1GP2 and GP Manager would be
available in January.  Both games were priced at $48.99 but if you buy
F1GP2 they will sell you GP Manager at 1/2 price.  Doesn't explain the
availability in Europe however.

Stuart

You have complete control over refuelling, tyre choice, pit strategy,
and can even tell drivers to "step on it" or "ease off" (or lots of
other things). You can also alter the cars' setup (wings, gear ratios,
brake balance), repair damage, and so on.

You can manage virtually every aspect of the team. You get to
decide where your R&D efforts should be concentrated, what testing
strategy you should adopt, which sponsors to try and get, what
drivers and other staff to hire and fire, and much more.

Despite one or two minor buglettes, this is a very playable and
fun game.

Here's a personal tip: get hold of Morbidelli and Salo as your
drivers.
