T1 & GP managers

I am looking at buying the T1, but as many other people, have a few
questions.  Can anybody tell me where I can buy it in England, and
for how much?

Is it OK in F1GP, and will it actually improve lap times?
Are any new models due out soon, meaning I should wait a bit?
Does it have a guarantee at all?

I am also interested if anything can tell me about the upcoming
release of grand prix managers.  There is a mag on sale locally
dedicated to sports games, and it mentions a grand prix manager
where you start in the 1960s.  I can't remember the name of the
company producing it (began with A), but is this different to
the microprose/sh one?

Thanks for any answers/replies.

I know precisely one person who's used it to good effect, and he turns
steering help off. Everyone else hates it; many still prefer keyboard
over joystick, even.

My personal advice: save your money for the CPU upgrade you'll need
(or at least want) when F1GPv2 comes out.
