Rels adjusts the AI's relative speed and Blaps adjust the qualifying speed of
the AI.

These are located in the tracks directory for each track. Ex. Atlanta.txt.

Edit this file, you will see a bunch of variables to edit. Adjust the pit
speed there as well, you'll see it.

Now there is a program called Nascar HQ that is a front end for this stuff as
well plus other options. I recommend it and it's located in most Nascar Web
pages.

I adjust the qualifying speed so I can never do better than 10 or so to at
least make it interesting to me when a race starts.

The patch added arcade networking. Thanks Charlie!!!

Another quirk I found. Have you ever wanted to go through the regular race
weekend in arcade mode like you can in realistic. Practice, qualify ect inside
a season?

Start Nascar without the cd. Go into multiplayer, choose direct connect (don't
have a direct connect though), it will fail, then exit multiplayer and start
champ season, now you have practicing, qualifying with arcade mode for the
season.

Well excussssssse Me. A-hole.

Why don't you let us decide how we like to play.

Simply put with over 20 racers from newcomers to *** the onyl way to get
intermingled the only way to get a good race is the modified arcade mode. I'm
certain if NRO becomes mainstream A LOT of people will opt for arcade mode
because it still is more realistic than any other game and it's more FUN.

thank you.

It is. You'd be the first not to like it on a LAN.

Most likely the case "You don't know and you probably never will"

Please understand that there are several ways to enjoy this game and some of
the things that you think and know are just wonderful have a hard time making
for fun competitve and clean racing.
