BTW, DG might have been thinking of RAMPage as well.  It's a pity that I

Haven't tried it yet but I did try this one.....you might want to try this
first as it is easy to undo if you don't like the results.

A simple line added to the System.ini file which seems to have eliminated those
"freeze frames" when Win thinks you've used enough RAM and goes to the swap
disk file.
