You need the complete name, FTP.funet.fi. It used to be nic.funet.fi,
but that site is now for something else, so they upset if you
don't use exactly the right hostname, hence the message.
MicroProse now have an FTP site of their own. Try
ftp.microprose.com
in /pub/mps-online/new-versions/
where there's f1gpe.zip, f1gpit.zip, and f1gpus.zip, the 1.05
updates for the European, Italian, and US (World Circuit) versions.
