no SP3 does not address this issue. However...There are PLENTY of
dashes available. I just grabbed a Viper dash with red fenders and
white stripes to match the two Chrysler Viper GTS' that run in the
American LeMans Series. The only problem is you have to manual insert
them.
Have a backup folder inside the mas folder. Download any dashes you
want to try. McClaren, Ferrari, it doesn't matter, there are tons of
them. Back up the original file dash.mas which is in the mas folder.
copy your new dash from the backup folder to the mas folder and then
rename it dash.mas(if you still have the original dash.mas in the folder
still that might cause a naming conflict){change the original to
dash.bku or something like that]
start SCGT, make sure you have the dash chosen in the menu files and
you are off to the races. ONe note. Many dashes only work at certain
resoulutions...make sure you read and understand the readme files that
are included. That viper dash works in low rez but if I choose 1024x480
then it crashes the whole program.
