        Congrats to Steve Habenicht, and to Erik Karlsson, the only second
time winner this season.  Special Congrats to Geoff Bodine winning yesterday.
With 4 new drivers this week, this is the biggest field ever for a LF3000
race.  The new drivers are Dave and Simon Gymer of the UK driving the Team
Shark-Porsches, Paul Hamilton in the #17 Scuderia Prancing Horse-Ferrari, and
O. Santos in the GoLamy-Renault.
        For those who were waiting for the .GPE files for LF3000, I have bad
news.With the influx of new drivers, there are just too many Pro teams to
fit them all in.  Also, GPEditor is being really annoying about the .GPE
files, and I really haven't had time to get them finished.  I apologize to
everyone who has already sent their files in.
        Results for Japan are due Oct. 9.  Good Luck!

Novice:
        This track is tough and demanding.  Clean passes are few and far apart.
 You
need to get up front at the start or you'll be stuck behind slower cars.  If
and when you have clear track ahead, be clean and follow the Ideal line.
 When in traffic, be patient and wait for a good opportunity to pass.  Tyres
begin to fade as the race goes on, so you can start on B's or C's.
