Hmm, good luck. Seriously.
THere was a network called "Hawaii", a prototype by Papyrus for multiplayer
racing. I was free, and the only cost was the long-distance price from your
house to the Boston area (well, not for those lucky Sob's who where living
within local-calling range !).
With the NROS, Papyrus closed Hawaii at the start of December of 1997. N1
is now pretty dead, and good luck to find someone on Kali, Heat.net, Kahn,
MPlayer or the Zone willing to race with N1.
Stick with Nascar2 and check out http://www.nros.com/ . It can't be better
than this for racing against humans presently. (or stick with the AI !).
