The graphics are absolutely jaw-dropping on Xbox - haven't seen the PC
version.  There's still no realism in the physics...e.g. the cars still get
wildly airborne at Bathurst but it's a good, fun game and a massive
improvement over the first one.

You can't honestly tell me the physics are on a par with LFS.

It isn't on par.
It has it's good moments, but there's something wrong about it. The Formula
Fords are the most convincing ones. The V8 cars, I can't honestly tell if
their FWD or RWD in the game. And the same problem as in F1C in low speed
corners extists too; ie drive slow in a corner and turn the wheel fully and
you'll spin out at least 180. It's like the game decides that you don't have
any contact with your rear tires and the asphalt anymore.
What more? Well, you can drive around and rub in the Formula Fords. Imo that
should end in disaster as the wheel touches, but it doesn't.
Maybe it will be better, but it doesn't feel not totally convincing as it
is.

Wow - after waiting in line for 98 minutes and a 34 minute download. I
wasn't impressed.
The graphics were awesome, but game play felt like I was playing a ps2 game.
It's not for me

lol Yeah i went back in and changed the settings to PRO. Felt alot  better.
There were also a few bugs:
1 I couldn't use my current game spy ID. Had to create a new one.
2. The wheel settings do not save when the game is shut down. So every time
I start the demo I have to set up my wheel.
3 When thumbimg through the Quick Game menu the game usually crashed after
the 4th or 5th click. (when clicking on next race)

Exactly the same results for me, I realize it's a free demo, but still, it
should work, right?
