Where have I been? (Don't answer that!) How long has this sim been out,
and why hasn't it been mentioned here? . . . Well, yeah. It's a Mac-only
game. That would cut the traffic a bit. Any of the handful of Mac sim
racers tried this yet?

Yep, and I'm not b*** with enthousiasm. It's an Amiga port and
therefore real easy on the resources, but it's pre-GP3 in execution and
not that much of a sim (although it seems somewhat better than arcade).
Also, the Amigans were rather miffed at the time it's pretty much
undriveable with the keyboard, and that still hasn't changed.

Since most Mac users don't have wheels and a mouse sux for steering, it
*needs* to be at least more or less able to handle keyboard controls.
Currently, it really doesn't - at least not when I tried it, and I did
manage to get a grip on F1CS2000/Mac using the keyboard, so we do have
something to compare it to.

Thanks, Ruud. I'll stick with the demo.

I'm downloading it now.  I'll give it a try.

Hey, I now have a use for my Momo wheel!  I believe it is now fully
supported in MacOS X 10.2.4 and higher!
