Does GPL run well on a Celeron 300a O/C to 450? How well?

Can anybody suggest a good place on the internet to order parts (IN THE
UK!!!) as my local computer store insists that I dont want a BX board, I
want an EX, the CPU won't fit in a BX! I gave up trying to convince him in
the end :)

Thanks in advance.

Hi Steve,

I don't know about GPL, but...

I have always used SMC computers, based in Slough.

They have a web page at http://www.smc-computers.co.uk. I am not sure if
they have an internet ordering service, but they certainly do mail order -
just give them a call and say what you want (or ask for a catalogue).

Prices are usually pretty good, quality and service is excellent. SMC is the
only company that I know of that give screws and an installation guide with
every hard drive and a static electricity discharching wrist band (on
request) with RAM, motherboards etc.

Enjoy!

Ben

I'm currently looking at the same upgrade, who is the customer here?
you, or the salesman? You tell *HIM* what you want to buy, if he
ain't got it, tell him to shove it!

Get PC Direct and buy it mail order from any of the following....

Dabs Direct
Simply Computers
Software Warehouse
Watford Electronics
Choice
Etc, etc.
