Whoah,
You know, it has never occured to me that we have somebody that young
joining us on VROC! I must beg to be excused, as I was taken out by Mikey
last night. I now understand why he didn't reply on me informing him that I
thought "railriding is for weenies".

Hmm, maybe, just maybe I'm happy I'm not one of the seriously big mouthed
ones out there <g>.

Oh, and you may want to explain the expression "pants" to him, I believe
that was the strongest word I used in my rage for being punted out by
somebody I had lapped :-)

How about sticking a "10" after his nickname at VROC? I think we'll all get
along quite nicely then.

Best,
Matt

A friend of mine has a 4yr old, who races N3 (offline of course) hehe he
has a problem with concentrating for more than 1-2 laps, but he can get
around dega with no contact quite well +)

I gonna keep bugging them to start putting money away for a Kart for
when he's big enuff to reach the pedals lol.

Muhahahahaha :-)

Well I guess now that I *have* passed I'm a prime target for a 10-year-
old around Monza.. Although I did recently run my first 1m27 in the
Ferrari :-)

Obviously that is my concern - although he is learning fast!

The railriding was by accident (simply running wide) - he knows not to do
that

You'd be surprised! He'll probably explain it to me :)

I took the anonymous approach to start with to keep a low profile - now he
seems reasonably adept this seems a good idea. So look out for Mikey10.

Incidentally - if anyone strongly objects to him racing then feel free -
just politely ask him to leave, he understands. Similarly if he does
something daft like wander in to you, or block you then let him know so he
can benefit from your experience.

Cheers

Graeme, did you adjust your driving style to pass your test - or was the
prospect of a retest too much for the examiner to consider...

Cheers

Hi Tony, I saw your son on VROC the other day, very pleasant young man :)
If only everyone else on VROC behaved the same way it would be a much nicer
place ;)

As far as his racing goes I can't comment having never seen him race, but by
your description he seems to at least want to have a proper race, which is
better than many of the so called mature racers who join VROC and drive
backwards around the tracks <G>

I say let him join races and see how he goes, if it looks a bit too
competitive for his skill level then maybe he could just watch, he may even
learn a bit about what is required in online racing.
Anyway, there are older *kids already on VROC so I say let him have a go, if
you're concerned about the colourful language you can turn the incar and
VROC chat off :)
