I disagree. People don't always put the name of the simulation
they're writing about in the article subject. For people that are
strictly NASCAR Racing fans, a newsgroup devoted to that aspect of
simulation racing would be a good idea. Of course, if you have a
rec.autos.simulators.nascar, then you must have one for Indycar, one
for Grand Prix II, etc. From what I understand about setting up new
newsgroups, it takes time and a lot of work to do so. If NASCAR
Racing owners want to get together and start a new newsgroup, who's to
stop them? If Indycar drivers want to do the same, then more power to
them. One thing's for sure, whoever decides to accept the mission of
setting up a NASCAR-specific newsgroup will have a lot of work on
their hands.
