With Papy finished, I suspect that N2003 is going to go the same route F1C
is going once the supply starts running low.
You'll see copies going for big bux on ebay and scarce, if not obsolete,
everywhere else.
I say grab 'em while ya can!

I thought it was 75 years...  But, "never" is probably accurate in the scheme
of things.  Meaning that in 40 years, no one will even care about playing it
anymore...<g>

No, I'm the one who preserved your and other's ability to purchase a copy,
as opposed to them going to individuals who won't be selling them, and I'll
be selling them through voluntary transactions on ebay.   Everyone wins the
way I see it.

I was thinking the same thing as that other person who said you were the one
hording them all. You are not preserving anything. Are you selling them for
$8.99 a piece? No, you're not. You basically went out and took the rest of
whatever as left took them off the market. Because of your greed you made it
basically priced the items way out of anyone's price range. Thanks, Tiny.
You're a real pal...not!

Lol. Are you upset you didn't think about it first? I wish I would of. I
have my copy just sitting in the closet. Maybe I should sell you mine :)

Gee Nathan I feel real bad right now. I see your point. You chose not to buy
the game at 49.95 when released because it was too expensive. Then a few
months later the price drops to 19.99. Too expensive again? Then finally
drops to 10.00 and what happened? All gone. So now I am responsible for your
poor choices? Thanks for the offer of your friendship at any rate. It is
awful lonely at the top.

Unlike you I'm not thinking of myself. I'm thinking of all those folks that
probably did want to buy the product and found it at Hastings for $8.99.
They can't buy it because you just went out and purchased all of them so you
can resell them at a higher price. I guess you thought Hastings was actually
Costco. Did you show them your resellers license too?

Believe me, my life won't change because I don't have the sim and I'm
certainly not buying it for the high price you'll probably be selling it
for. It'll be interesting to hear if you get the $41 extra you're looking
for. Then again, you'll probably tack on $20 for shipping if you're selling
it on Ebay. ;-)

If I see the sim at a store for $20 or lower, then I'll get it. If not, oh
well. Such is life.

Have a good one!

Nathan

Don't worry Nathan.  I was just giving Tiny a hard time, really.  He's
free to buy all he wants wherever he can find them, as far as I am
concerned.  If he can turn a buck or two, more power to him!

I don't think he should plan on retiring on his F1C sales, alone,
though. Because if you've played EA games for a while, you now that
they invariably re-issue their old games in a "shovelware" form, after
they pull the boxed ones off the shelf.

They did that with SCGT, F1 2000, F1 2001, and F1 2002.  I bought SCGT
as "shovelware" at Wal-Mart. It even came with NASCAR Road Racing
attached (pweee!  what a stinker!) But I bought F1 2001 and F1 2002 in
the retail boxes and still have them, too!

Anyway it's only a matter of time before EA does the same with F1C.
Then anybody who missed it in the box for $9.99 will be able to buy it
in a jewel-case with the manual in PDF form on the CD...for $9.99 or
so.

When that happens, Tiny's hoarded F1C games will be worth less than
what he paid for them, when shipping is included.

As you know, sometimes prices are higher than they should be, due to
artifical demand, but they eventually right themselves again!
(economics 101)
