Which file and item do I edit to get this race to go more than 3 laps.
Also it seem the lap average is different from the F1 key compared to the  
the actual lap speed shown on the screen.

Bill,
This problem is usually caused by not having a number of laps specified in the
calendar for that event.  The default is 3 laps.
