Was there ever an expansion pack (that I never bought) for IndyCar
Racing II for Indianapolis like there was for the original IndyCar
Racing game (which I have)?

If not, what is the best way/game to race at indy on my idiot box?

Papyrus did not have the rights to make Indianapolis for Indycar II.
However, if you have the Indy track from Indycar I you can convert it
for use in the Indycar II game using Gerhard Lingenberg's utility
