Rendition CRASHES

Last week I installed my new Screamin' 3d video card.  I must say ICR2
has never looked so beautiful!  Unfortunately, since then I have been
having increasing problems/craches using INDYFAST and RENDDMA.  I am to
the point now where everytime I try to boot the Rendition version of
ICR2 or N2 the sim either crashes or plays a horrendas sound out of my
speakers.
I called Sierra and got terrible support, he had no advice other than
to send the card back and wait for another to be shipped to me.  Right!
Anyway I hoped someone here might have experienced similar problems and
might be able to offer suggestions.

I am running a P5 200 with 32 meg and have a SB 16 PnP sound card.
Also, please note that even though the system crashes with ICR2 and N2,
I can still run the rendition version of Euro Fighter 2000 V2.0 from the
START menu without any problems.  PLEASE HELP!!
                   Thanks,
                       Chris

Have you tested your system to make sure it supports DMA busmastering?
Download the utility called DMADIAG and run it to see if your system
passes.  Also, trying to run the optimized versions of ICR2 and N2 from
a DOS box is not always successful for me (get the "pixie dust" across
top of display) but if I reboot to DOS, I never have any problems.
