Did some ranked racing to get my name on the Raceserver list...made it
up to the 380's but last I checked I'm around 600. The biggest problem
is getting collected. Two Tally races are a perfect example.
Race one. I'm humming along in the draft. I notice one car ahead is
very antsy and I try to stay away from him. He's several cars ahead so
not too much of a problem. But then he comes together with another car
and the smoke fills the screen. I stay high and crowd the wall
expecting them to both slide down...nope..Bang...Limped back to the pits
and fixed the damage, cruised 3 or 4 laps down and picked up places as
folks disconected. Ended up like 6th.
Next race...another jitterbug ahead....2nd lap he collects somebody
and they both run up to the wall on the back straight. My drafting
partner and I both head low, I mean REALLY low...almost to the grass.
Just as I think I'm pretty clever the jitterbug bounces off the outside
wall and comes completely across the track and NAILS me...So the
Raceserver thinks I'm a complete jerk getting into collisions every
race...dagnubbit...
