various makes, but a question struck me and I don't recall seeing
anyone talk about it.
It would amount to a CHAMPIONSHIP Monster Rank. One person, winnning
the 1967 GPL points title in every make of car. Has it ever been done?

Nice idea, but the AI adapt to your speed, so you would have to fix them at
the default for it to be comparable on your PC to someone else's.
In nearly 5 years I'd be surprised if someone hadn't done it though ;-)
I ran the whole championship at GP length once, in a Lotus, and won it, and
I've done several single full GP races (one online at snett67 in the Cooper,
came 3rd out of 5 finishers). I also have a Monster Race Rank (-93 or
something) so I've finished a race at the 11 original tracks in all 7 cars,
but I haven't raced the AI since I started racing online a little over a
year ago. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to do it with novice length
races.

Forget racing the AI. Get yourself online with vroc & you'll improve your
consistency (and gplranks) no end ;-)
