Nascar Demo Problem

I have the nascar demo and have a problem. When I run it, I see the title
screen in color for just a fraction of a second then it bombs and a error
message comes up saying 'unable to load ROL(1) Incomplete Installation?'
Can anyone tell me what that might mean I have wrong here. Thanks and

Unzip with the -d option. This will create the proper subdirs and their files.
