Open Appeal to Suncom

I have an SFS throttle (ser.# 4645) that I purchased at my local Electronics
Boutique, and registered online. I have seen snippets of information
indicating that there was some defect in early production models of the
Throttle. I have made numerous posts and sent e-mails to your company
requesting some official response, but I have heard nothing.
My hat switch is malfunctioning. Programmed keys will operate properly when
tested in Notepad, but functon sporadically (if at all) when in a game.
Will someone please tell me what the nature of the mysterious is, and what
can I do to get my throttle repaired. Thank you.

Stinking chicken-shit sacks of crap. That's what I think of the folks at
Suncom. No answer, no help, no support for their products. May they all go
to hell.

If they are getting your goat that badly, then you are letting them
win.  Turn the tide on them - find someone who cares.  Or, continue
advocating not patronizing them.

<"But how do you REALLY feel?">
And also why are you holding back?

I myself had a problem with my talon stick, which was COMPED
to me two years ago...they said 'send it back for a replacement".

I did...they did.

Dont know what you may have had as a problem but if you talked
to them the way yr quoted above...then perhaps you got a different
level of service than I did...

Agree. Back when I had my PC stores (yes I was a Salesman) I had two queues for
fixing things. One was for those people who realised things can break, no
matter how good the build quality, and an understanding and courteous manner
will releive stress and ensure the product is either promptly replaced or
fixed.

We had another queue for those who thought we, as resellers, were the people
who made the defective product and therefore have no rights to be treated as
human beings. They found it took a lot londer for us to find the motivation to
help them.

I am sure Mr Spilman was a nice person to Suncom up to a certain point. Now he
has lost it and I feel only pity for him. Dealing with some of these hardware
suppliers, even when you are buying millions of dollars worth as I used to do,
can make even the Pope swear.

Are officially speaking  for Suncom? If  so, why did you wait until someone
insulted you before responding? Also, If so, never mind, the matter is
forgotten. And so is Suncom as far as I am concerned. But thank you for your
prompt reply.

Eric,
Please read my original post, "Open appeal...". I think my tone was very
civil there. I realize that one "gets more flys with honey than with shit,"
and I also realize that many of the support/customer service people with
whom I correspond are not themselves responsible for my troubles, and
deserve to be addressed politely. But after a point, after being totally
ignored by this company for three months, I have to hold them all
responsible. Suncom sucks. They can ALL kiss my ass. Suncom sucks. Never
another penny of my money.
W Spilman

PS: Happy Mothers Day Suncom! I'll give all your *** mothers an extra
quarter when they're finished sucking my dogs***.

I guess I really ought to keep my 11 year old son from reading this NG. I
know that we all like to express ourselves with free speech

Have your 11 year old read a book instead. We are not here to babysit
your brat.

Im sure you were reasonable.  I know you are frustrated.
I would be too.  It does surprise me though.  Did you call
them?   I would

Good luck.

Righteous indignation loses its justification when it turns into blatant abuse!

(I cant believe I just type'd that line.....must be the hours of playing sims
killing the braincells!)
