I've been joined at the hip with NASCAR Racing since '95 when the first one came
out... I was an absolute menace when I got around anybody..... sloooowly, very
slooowly I have gotten over it to a point - I still have a problem on starts in
heavy traffic - it took a long time to figure out that the biggest problem is my
frame rate as suggested in another reply.... you will NOT overcome this
problem with sluggish video... ain't gonna happen - there are tracks that I have
to turn off all objects, billboards, horizon, paint jobs, everything but the
track and the cars, and I still have to tiptoe - as you suspect, practice and
more practice is about the only cure for driving - but, try reducing the
steering lock some - I found this to be a huge help to keep me from zig-zaggin'
all over the place - too much and it will slow you down, but try a little and
see if it helps.........
