Hi there !

Can someone please opst or email me a setup for Viper Racing to
make it drive a little more "GPLish" ??

I once made up my own setup to be able to "steer with throttle",
but I lost it ;-(

Thanx in advance !!

Also, man mailt sich...

Hey...what does this mean?  I asked a person who teaches German and he
coudn't make it out exactly.  This is what he said:

+++++++
Also, man mailt (sic) sich.... = Therefore one paints one's self (but
"mailt" is prob. an attempt to put the Eng. word "mail" as in Email,
together with "malt", from the Ger. verb "malen", meaning: to paint. Clever.

.\\atze = ? Latze=bib;  aetzen=etch, using a caustic or acidic agent. Dunno,
unless he misspelled or is clueless.
+++++++

Just wonderin'

Which track?  Just what is "GPLish" like?  I doubt you will get a 1998
Viper to drive like a 1967 F-1. Paul

Hi Paul !

Due to the fact that Viper Racing isn't out in germany yet I only
have the demo ;-/

Of course not...but I want to have the viper to be more oversteering
and little more "steerable" with the gas. As I mentioned I had a
setup for viper, but the problem was that as soon as the car starts
to oversteer there was almost no chance to get it back on track (as
you can do in GPL just by hitting or lowering the gaspedal...)

Also, man mailt sich...

Here is a setup for Silverdale that has just a hint of oversteer and
works well for me
  Bump 50 40
  Rebound 65 75
  Springs 70 65
  Toe-in  0  .2
  Camber  -1.6  -.7
  Ride height  5.2  5.9
  Brake bias  65  35
  Wheel lock  18
  Spoiler  100  90
  Final drive 4.1
 Gears  2.00  1.32  1.00  .92  .84  .78

Crank the wheel lock up to 35 and you will be able to recover from an
oversteer spin more easily.  Just crank in a little extra wheel when
recovering :)

LOL! No, he means to mail, not to paint :) Probably you could
translate it roughly by "to mail each other".

...perhaps his nickname :)? I've no idea what it means either, but
your translation attempt by "?tzen" is wonderful :)
I see, you *really* have to be careful to eliminate all German words
from an English posting - I had no idea what people can make out of
three words ;-)
